Fun fact: it only takes 6 bolts to take an F250 bumper off. 1 in the fender and 2 at the tow hooks.

They really really are. I’ve been working on my front suspension for way too long because of that stubbornness.

This needs to get done tomorrow. I'm picking up a new breaker bar tomorrow and have a 4ft cheater pipe. Oh and a propane torch. Victory will be mine.

I have had the most luck with heat, combined with penetrating fluid and time. Acetone and ATF 1/1 mix is supposedly the best, I’ve used it with great success but it’s nasty and super flammable. Best of luck

Hmmm acetone and atf ? Looked it up and apparently works incredibly well. I don't have any acetone but I do have seafoam and ATF. Given seafoam is just isopropyl alcohol I wonder if it would work the same?

I’ve used a breaker bar, a propane torch, PB Blaster, a ball joint press, a bushing press, and every curse word I know. It has fought me every step of the way. At least all I have left is to put the new springs in and button it up. Not that that’s easy, but at least all of the bolts and nuts are new now.

I think the acetone specifically is useful for its viscosity? Super cheap too like 1$ for a quart

Nail polish remover is pretty much just acetone.
